Founded in 2010, Redlands Model Railway Club has been a fundamental force in the community for over a decade. From humble beginnings, we've grown to become the largest and most active social Train Club in the Redlands area. Our diverse and welcoming community is made up of people from all walks of life. Come and get to know our members. Here are some of our members setting up the club layout for the Brisbane train show we also join yearly. Come and hear their stories. All about trains, from local Chuff Chuffs and overseas Great Diesel movers, also about trains from all over the world and members talking about their layouts.
As a Redlands Model Railway Club member, you'll have priority access and registration for events, and have a supportive community of like-minded individuals having fun with you. Also have opportunities to help build or modify club layouts
At Redlands Model Railway Club, our mission is to bring people together and foster meaningful connections through a variety of social activities and events. Whether you're looking to expand your social circle or simply have fun and expand your hobby, we welcome you to join us! Children welcome but must be accompanied by an adult
Our club meets once a month to discuss all club matters and enjoy good company. We welcome all and sundry, of all genres and experience levels. We have weekly get togethers to run our trains on club tracks. Catering for DC and DCC trains. We have followers of HO/OO, S and N guages. Here some members is adding tracks to an existing layout used at train shows.

This layout is based on a town in the Karoo area of South Africa and mostly scratch build
This engine bodies was scratch built by a member and added to Hornby wheelsets, then DCC decoders, lights and smokers added

Our yearly train show is on. Come and see all layouts at Assembly Hall, 46 Smith Street Cleveland. Open on the mornings at 9 am of 30 th and 31st of August 2025 and all day till 5 pm Saturday and 4pm on Sunday
We love to meet people, so feel free to visit us on Saturday rundays.
